Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice regarding a possible NOC mismatch after submitting my Express Entry PR application.
I received my ITA and have already submitted my application. For my Developer position, I selected NOC 21232 (Software developers and programmers).
Recently, I compared my reference letter against both NOC 21232 and NOC 21230 (Computer systems developers and programmers), and now I'm wondering if 21230 might be a closer textual match.
Some of the duties in my reference letter include:
I've read a few posts where applicants mentioned their work experience wasn't accepted because the officer felt their duties matched a different NOC than the one they selected. Because of that, I'm wondering if I should proactively submit an IRCC webform asking to change the NOC from 21232 to 21230, or if it's better to leave the application as it is since 21232 is still arguably defensible.
Has anyone been in a similar situation after AOR? Did you send a webform to clarify or correct your NOC, and if so, what was the outcome? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.
Any and all comment is appreciated. Just honestly ridiculous that i have to worry about this.
