Hi all,
I am also under NOC-4131. It is more than 6 months my e-cas received by visa office. Unfortunately visa office london.

Hi everybody,
my visa office is Damascus, and my NOC: 4131.
I received my 2nd AOR (file No.) Sep 2009, my status is still "received by visa office"!
I'm really tired of waiting, after almost 12 months, there is no change in my online status. Anybody has an idea?

hi coral
I think you should send an inquiery to Damascus to remind them of your file.
By the way ,What is your occupation?
good luck

I am also 4131, was received by visa office from feb 2009!!! and now gone into process in late july 2010. Stay positive, it will come through.

Thanks for the reply. I'm an instructor at language institute and private university. I'd rather wait till the 12 full months pass which means in 2 weeks. BTW, should I contact them via email ot fax?

You should send an e-mail to the address provided at the top of your second AOR

hi Coral
would you please share your IELTS score with individual bands. Where do you teach English; I mean in which country?
Thanks

I am not sure if this is the right observation. However, I have seen most applicants who have filed their application in 2009 getting calls and medicals in 2010.

It means to say, though 4131 was high priority job : there were delays across most embassaies.

It is very difficult to draw a trendline, as the sample we get from the forum is a miniscule of the total percentage of FSW applicants.

Anyways, lets hope Lady Luck shed some luck on our files and it surfaces to the top, from the large pile of files.

I did after 12 months when someone from the forum reminded me to do so and then they replied back saying it is in process. So i asked, is it in process according to the status definition or just waiting to be processed, and then they said, it would take 16 months before they look at it. So after 16 months, i emailed them and they said it will take 18months. Then I moved at the end of August so in July, I sent them a letter for change of address and still no change on my status and then suddenly, there was.
