Nice one; Our pathway to mainstream practise as doctors seem quite rigorous. A strong synergy group would not be bad for proper integration

Can we make this thread more lively...Landed "seniors" could be helpful wt requisite infos

Hello forum members,

Reading through these pages got me excited as I didn't know it was possible for a doctor to get nominated from outside Canada.

Please can anyone kindly to put me through and how to begin this process.

Did you choose a province or you where randomly nominated?

Did you have to write their Canadian medical exams first?

Please HELP me start this journey.

Thanks.

Hey!

Yes. Doctors can for sure, apply for PNP and Canada PR.

You have to take IELTS first, and get your degree ONLY source verified by MCC, and then enter into the express entry pool.

Yes, please.
We need a whatsapp group just for nOC 3112, I am pretty sure it'll be extremely helpful for many.

Also, we need to request the moderator to stick this thread.

Hi All,

Am a new comer here. Have been reading this thread and others and found a lot of useful information. I don't know what my chances are of securing a PR but I have decided to apply. I have applied for IELTS exam (general training) and I have opened an account with physiciansapply.ca. What do you think my chances are to secure a PR. I am an MBBS and so is my spouse. Only thing is that I am 47 and he is 50 yrs old. We have worked all our lives but wish to work somewhere else now in some other related healthcare field not practice as Doctors. Who should be Principal applicant? ( I have a relative there) and should we apply together as a family or separately? Any of the Forum seniors still visiting this thread are welcome to give their views whether or not we would be successful or is it a waste of time?

An important question before I forget to ask is do we also get our degrees notorised prior to sending them to MCC or only send a normal copy? Just for this clarification I have not finalised my SVR. If someone could kindly shed some light on this issue please.

Thanks in advance....

What NOC does a radiology resident fall under?? 3112 as for general practitioner or 3111 one for specialist?? i am not a specialist yet but my job responsibilities as radiology resident dont exactly follow the ones in NOC 3112, but iob title of Resident matches with it. Cannot figure this out. Urgent help needed please.

There is application format in the Dhaka University to get the Transcript (may be you have to contact at room no. 304 of register building - I forgot). You need to fill the form and provide photocopies of your mark sheets and Degree certificate and pay the fee. Usual time to complete the transcript is 1 week. But if you can manage the Clark then you might get it done in 2 days ;) ;) ;)

Best of luck.
@lemon do we need to send transcripts or just mbbs certificate? also which one is mbbs certificate-is it from the bmdc or from university of dhaka?

Please I wonder if you can help
I am a specialist physician and am applying under 3111 with my three years of training in residency after which I became a specialist but I am confused which job title should I use in my work letter? I read that a resident in training towards a speciality is still included in 3111 NOC
Any idea?
