Is ECA report is sent by regular mail or courier?

If its send by regular mail, can I have ECA sent to my uncle in canada and then he can forward it to me??? Will be quick in that way rather than MCC sending to India by regular mail.

You can request MCC to send your ECA via courier. Send them a mail through your account. You will be sent a credit card payment form which you can send back via email after filling out.

Here is how I got my ECA fast from scratch.

1. Open an EPIC account with ECFMG (allows courier options throughout)
2. Apply for SVR via physiciansapply.ca ( You will be given ECIS number along the way)
3. Your EPIC verification will be completed earlier.
4. As soon as your EPIC is completed..call ECFMG(ECIS), tell them you have an EPIC account. Quote you ECIS number from MCC.

Note: EPIC account verification is much quicker....depends on school though. Your EPIC verification will be completed earlier if you select courier delivery. MCC verification via ECFGM is by regular post.

5. MCC will acknowledge SVR completed very soon. ( happened within 24 hours for me)
6. Request ECA
7. Inform MCC to send ECA via courier.....you will be given a credit card authorization form to fill and email back.

Do u have a physiciansapply account yet? Go to physiciansapply.ca and follow proceedure there....it includes sending then a photocopy of your medical diploma.

On the profile tab, look at column called Identifiers.You will find a candidate code, MINC, USMLE/ECFMG number and ECIS number.......generated by MCC for the purpose of SVR.

MCC asked about the Medical Diploma and Passport's copy and the Identification form (all Certified), but I sent the transcripts too. May be, transcripts will not be required but I didn't want to take any risk. My other documents are almost ready. Thanks

You will not be taking a risk. Transcripts are not required by MCC for FSWP. Source verify only medical diploma. Save the money.
