no entry in Canada before 3weeks in Canada of program?

i got news that students getting visas for January 2019 intake are getting special notes that -

please note that you should not travel to canada on your student visa, more than three weeks before the start date of your program .

is this right??

some of myfriend got an e mail that they can not come tk canada beforr 3weeks of their classes....but i do not get any mail lole that so what to do....i have got my visa from September month....

Who did they get the email from? An agent? As long as you can support yourself there will be no issue

It's a rumour spread by some people here. One of the rumour mongers was to provide the forum with proof but I guess he lost it (maybe) because of his hard disk crash
