@ Pa Awoderu,

Your best bet is to do wire transfer. Open a domiciliary account here in Nigeria preferably USD and anytime you need to transfer money you can buy the USD pay into your domiciliary account and then instruct the bank to transfer. But you have to always leave room for cross rate fluctuation. So if you need C$1,000.00 you can transfer USD1,050 OR USD1,100.00.

A colleague with a daughter in school there does this everytime.

@spokes, know that is at disadvantage when we are to pay for PRPF as u will buy more US $ to purchase CAD $
then on the other hand it shows Canadian economy is doing better compare to USA

I disagree...No matter how u look at it, it is still better at least for today....You must have spent morte Naira buying either of US$ or CAD$ as at when you were paying for your PR.

Why won't Canadian economy thrive? Do you know how much they receive in application fees? :o I sat down one day to think about it. And they have so many immigration categories, all with fees! No matter the quota set for a year,it is always exceeded and people are prepared to wait. No be so we tanda dey wait for our PR?

I have noticed that Accra gets very active when it's close to rules changing. :-\
