Hi Everyone!

my online got updated to PR: Decision Made today. just wondering if this is a good (hopefully) or if it's something to worry about, because i have not received any PR email yet. Does this happen often (DM before PPR)?

Thank you!
Normally kc pag nagsubmit ng passport, the status change to Decision Made means stamped na visa s passport.

Hello po sa lahat. First time ko po mag post in this forum but I've been reading a lot.

Meron po ako question and hoping anyone can provide some feedback.

I'm currently working here in Philippines as a Software Engineer. Yung client po namin is a US based company. Now, upon hearing from me na I married a Filipina-Canadian woman and she is planning to sponsor me as soon as possible. They offer me a job to work remotely in Canada. The same job parin po pero dun lang ako sa Canada mag work - work from home. Uuwi po dito ang wife ko late this month para makuha lahat ng papers tapos mag start po ng processing December this year.

Questions:
1. Pag hihingi po ba ako ng Employment Letter from US Company about their future offer sakin, mapapabilis po ba ang processing?
So our Pastor nag agree na ituloy ang ceremony and to follow and marriage Licence. Uuwi po sya dito this month para asikasuhin namin ang marriage certificate and hopefully makuha namin before sya umalis. Wala po ito magiging problem? - kasi nauna na ang wedding ceremony.

Pasensya na po medyo mahaba. I hope enyone can give their 2 cents.

Thanks,
Gideon

Please translate your question in English and post in on the spousal sponsorship thread (the first thread you'll see under Family Class Sponsorship).

1. No, it won't make the process faster kung ang target mo naman ay Spousal Sponsorship. But if employment ang target mo, maybe it would help.

2. Considered bang valid ang marriage ninyo nun? If yes, i-follow up na ninyo and i-register dahil almost 4 weeks kapag expedited ang marriage certificate and 6 months kapag di mo pina-expedite. If you're gonna go through spousal sponsorship, they might ask why delayed ang registration and how were you allowed to get married ng walang license. Unless you have marriage contract on the day of your marriage, then baka. Remember you cannot back date or post date any legal document.

Just my two cents.
Thanks prvc.

That time wala kami marriage license. So in our case, pagdating nya dito this month dun palang mag file ng marriage certificate. Ang ilalagay daw is the day na ready na ang docs or something like that.

And naka set na yung venue ng wedding and all.

Thanks,
Gideon

First of all, ano bang sponsorship ang target mo? Spousal?

If yes, you cannot and should not state these recent problems that you had when your wife sponsors you because it is a clear sign of MISREPRESENTATION and subject for spousal sponsorship refusal.

Clearly, you are saying na people are advising you to POST DATE the marriage which is a terrible idea.

Kasi magkakaproblema kayo for sure pag di kayo nag-ingat.
Yes, spousal. Sabi ng Immigration Atty. wala naman daw magiging problem as long na tama lang yung timeline na ibibigay namin. Nag bakasakali lang ako na meron same experienced. Thanks bro.

No problem. Make sure everything is according to your timeline and leave no trail for doubt. I've read a similar case as yours dito sa forum, pero ang inadvise sa kanya is pinaulit yung kasal to make it real na lang and forget na may nangyaring kasal noon. Back to zero, walang post dating and everything. Pero ibang country yun and maybe they can afford kaya okay sa kanya. Same problems you had, delayed lang sa papers. Maybe you can try to consider it din.
Hopefully maayus na namin this time pagdating nya.

It's not just about timeline but also proofs that you will have to include in your application. Your marriage/wedding is quite interesting to start with. Be careful when sending photos, receipts, etc.. If the difference of dates are noticed, sad to say that the sponsorship may not be granted (hopefully it won't happen). Not trying to scare you but just an early warning. Think ahead of scenario/s as you complete your application package. I am also not discouraging you about Immigration Lawyer but, they will do everything to win a client. It's business! Rest assured though that in this forum, members are helping each other. One of the reasons why a lot of members here successfully completed their applications on their own.

This is true. People will help you here and tell you the truth. Kaya kung nagugulumihanan ka, do what you think is RIGHT, and misrepresentation is not.

I hope they just consider to marry again.

Hahaha. Proud Bulakenya! Char. Haha What is your timeline, Survivor27?

I'm done with my questionnaire and was doing the happy dance when I printed them all. Finally, after ilang madugong months ng preparation. Sana mabilis po sa atin. I'm sending it on Friday to my hubby. :) Ano po kaya maganda? FedEx or PHLPOST?

Do not forget your AOM po. :)
I always use FedEx. Yep, I have AOM na. Will submit both PSA MC and AOM, pag di pa naman sila nakuntento. Pati nga copies ng requirements when we obtained marriage license isama ko sa proof as supporting docs :) Good luck sa app mo.

It would not matter. Ours was civil wedding officiated by a Baptist Pastor. Importante legally registered.

Awesome! Baka umuwi nalang kami sa province nila to have a 2nd wedding (Civil). At least walang problem sa timeline.

That would be good. Pag within Manila kasi, it takes 2 weeks only and pwede ka na makakuha ng PSA copy ng MC pag may advance endorsement.
