Oct. 5 yung ppr request sis.

Naghihintay ka rin pala sis? I know the maximum is 90 working days to get the passport back, it was on the ppr email. Some got it back as early as 4 days after they submitted. I hope my husband's passport is ready for pick-up soon. ;D

Yes, waiting din kami. PPR - Oct11. Passport submitted at VFS - Oct12. Wala pang changes sa mycic details namin.

Hi Aprihl! Im trying to help my friend who is under husband sponsorship, nag hire kasi sya ng consultant (CIC), my questions are: Saan po nakikita yung ganyan ka detailed na status? Also, how is background check being done kaya? Bago lang kasi silang kasal Dec 2015 lang...TIA

Here's a link for the cic page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp

They can sign-in using a canadian bank account, and then they'll have to link the application of the applicant(person being sponsored). I think they can link it once they get a Sponsorship approval but I'm not too sure. It's when I linked ours.

I'm not sure how background check is being done. But once the background check is in process then you are set to get a passport request soon. It's the last step before final decision.

Not sure of your exact situation..on the marriage license po..as to what I know of iits a formal requisites for marriage, if wala po xa, marriage may be void so it's as if di po ba ngyari kasal..check nyo Po sa lawyer nyo just to be sure.baka Po ma misrepresent pa kayo..

hi?sa situation naman namin ni hubby ko .nag apply kami for marriage licence on jan15 so exactly jan25 yung kasal namin kasi nga 10 days dapat bago magpakasal after ma-file yung licence.pero uung judge na nagkasal sa amin avail lang jan23 kaya ginawa ung civil wedding on the 23rd of january,pero lahat ng documents at contract jan25 ..after that nafile na sa nso now ppr na kami..question is paano pong di nakaabot?you mean unh licence di narelease?

Hello po sa lahat. First time ko po mag post in this forum but I've been reading a lot.

Meron po ako question and hoping anyone can provide some feedback.

I'm currently working here in Philippines as a Software Engineer. Yung client po namin is a US based company. Now, upon hearing from me na I married a Filipina-Canadian woman and she is planning to sponsor me as soon as possible. They offer me a job to work remotely in Canada. The same job parin po pero dun lang ako sa Canada mag work - work from home. Uuwi po dito ang wife ko late this month para makuha lahat ng papers tapos mag start po ng processing December this year.

Questions:
1. Pag hihingi po ba ako ng Employment Letter from US Company about their future offer sakin, mapapabilis po ba ang processing?
2. Kinasal po kami last May 2016 ng wife ko. Pero hindi pa namin nakuha ang Marriage Certificate, reason is hindi umabot yung Marriage License sa date ng wedding ceremony.So our Pastor nag agree na ituloy ang ceremony and to follow and marriage Licence. Uuwi po sya dito this month para asikasuhin namin ang marriage certificate and hopefully makuha namin before sya umalis. Wala po ito magiging problem? - kasi nauna na ang wedding ceremony.

Pasensya na po medyo mahaba. I hope enyone can give their 2 cents.

advise from a lawyer friend ..."so long as the docs indicated that your wedding was celebrated within 120 days from the time the marriage license was obtained, it should be ok. And also, if theres no one to file petition for declaration of nullity of marriage, there should not be an issue"

Are we still talking about Gideon's case? Their marriage happened kasi back in May 2016 and it was past the 120-day window period. They can postdate, it is up to them. The thing is, it's a case of knowingly misrepresenting some facts. And if they're not careful, they could leave an impression to the officer that something is quite doubtful there.

We are just offering help and telling the truth to our fellow here, and it is entirely up to them to execute what they think is right and necessary.
