Hey the CIC is looking to implement a new policy where the sponsored PRs are issued a temporary PR for 2 years or so after which they'll be allowed to extend only if they are still in married relationship with the person who sponspored.

This is not in effect though, still a proposal. hope the following link helps.

If the person has got VISA, he is a permanent resident of Canada,so cannot deport him back.

yea, so they can't deport a landed immigrant, even though he/she is a sponsered spouse who got out of the relationship based on present rules.

need help i got bet with someone and i need urgent answer if ur 100% sure
if someone comes in canada on spouse sponser and they get divorced all sudden is it possible to deport him back to his country?
please tell me.otherwise.i.will lose 300 dollar
