I agree with CEC2013. On an optimistic note... Late Aug / Early Sep is the earliest we can expect MR flow for Jan applicants.

Thanks so much - you rock!

Folks,
Just to keep you all posted. I have completed from RCMP Fingerprints at 'Commissionaires' today (paid CAD 50 + tax). My GCMS notes did make a mention of RCMP Fingerprints requirement so I went ahead and got it done before CIC asked for it.
As per 'Commissionaires', it will take take 7-10 business days for the clearance to reach CPP Ottawa.

Has anyone's ECAS status changed to "I'm process"? At what stage does this usually happen? (if at all of course!)

Andy,

RCMP clearance reaches you in a mail which further has to be sent out to CPP-OTTAWA right ?

for Pre-medicals - did u opt for Doctor who is e-medicals enabled ?

Wt about forms for medicals

You can either get RCMP clearance delivered to your own address or to a third party (CIC).
Yes. I got my upfront medicals done through the eMedicals mode. Forms were not required. Only AOR No. and Client ID.

Has anyone requested GCMS notes using privacy act instead of access to information act? If so , did you receive it via privacy act...seems like there is no charge if you apply via privacy act..

Andy I saw that you have done upfront Medicals. Is that mean your Medicals are already with Immigration and you saved two week waiting time.
Did you send any thing to cic or you will send them after u get MR?
I m November applicant and thinking of upfront Medicals ?

Got my GCM Notes for CEC..

Nothing has started...

Currently It says under your profile you applied in 2011. Are these notes in relation to a more recent application?

Yes. My medical reports are already with CIC and they have acknowledged it. I sent the Upfront eMedicals Notification issued by the physician to CIC. Even though I have done medicals in advance, I still expect CIC to issue MR. And then again I have to reply back stating medicals done in advance with the Notification. My dependents are flying to India this month end and they will not return until early next. This was the sole reason for me to do medicals in advance. It has its own downside - purely your choice if you want to go for it.

Hello All,Seniors / JES_ON / Andy

I am working as Sr Programmer analyst for almost 3 years for my company. I applied PR under cEC in the month January 2013 under 2174 NOC code, its the same code under which my 3 year work permit is issued.

Now I am moving to BA role which is definitely not a 2174 NOV code. Please advise if this move can have any adverse impact on my permanent residency application.

Do they ask for updated Employment letter / reference letter etc etc?

Thanks,
