Hi All,
Recently my supervisor left my company, but before he left, he told me that I can still use him as a reference for CIC since he wrote my employment letter. On the employment letter there are his company phone number and cell phone number. Should I write a letter to CIC stating that my supervisor has left the company, but still ok to contact him at his cell phone?
Thanks to anyone who can provide advices.

Anyone?

If they won't do it is suggest: -

1) he explains that he is your supervisor...
2) provides business location and contact number.
3) if there is a reason he can't do it on company letter head it would help for Him to outline this.

Provides all details as requested by cic. Good luck yahoo.

Not a good idea to send it before receiving AOR. Wait for AOR so that your papers get into the right file.

You need to contact CIC only when you change your employer. You are not required to track the Supervisor's move. Moreover, CIC does not contact employers for everyone. If your reference letter has your supervisor's contact details (phone number and email ID), it will suffice even though he is not with the company anymore.

The process changed as of January so the truth is no one knows exactly what they are doing now.

Previously they have done as you have described, or they have issued MR at the same time as criminal and security checks. For new applicants we don't know which route they will go and CIC don't make this information public.

OK thanks jsm0085

CPP-O has just received my PCC's. Hope to hear back from them soon. Although, they haven't acknowledged receiving my T4 and new passport information I sent via email a week back.

Guys,

I have 2 years and 4 months of Canadian experience. I applied in December when I completed my 2 years and 1 month of experience but for some reason my application was returned. I re-applied in January 2013 and this time I got my AOR.

I had T4 and NOA for year 2010, 2011 which I have already included. I also attached my last two paystub (December 2012) certifying that I was employed in year 2012 as well.

Do you think if it is required to send T4 and NOA for year 2012 as well?

Thanks in advance for your valuable advice.

Not the previous years but the requirement is to submit the most recent T4 and NOA. Your file is still not taken up for processing, so very much advisable to submit the latest ones that you have.

Thanks Andy for your response. I have one more questions to ask - I filed my tax online myself and within 2 to 3 days, it was assessed and and I can see them on CRA website through MyAccount. Can I take the print-out and send it to CIC or should I wait for them to send me hardcopy of the NOA.

-thanks.

Since you are a Dec applicant, there is still a lot of time for someone to pick up ur app for processing. You can as well wait for the NOA and email them the soft copy once you have it. Should be receiving it in a week or two.

Yahoo,

I was December applicant but my application was returned first time and then I re-submitted it, so I am now a January applicant.

I think I can get NOA online as well and that look very similar to what we get on hardcopy.

Thanks.

I suggest that you send the original NOA since you will be getting it in 1-2 weeks. Would not make a difference whether you send it now or after 2 weeks..
