My company does not have a letter head. I myself put the company logo in the header and prepared the entire letter with my supervisor's name, address, contact details.
My supervisor agreed to give the reference letter to me but cant do so on a company letter head. What should I do in this case?

If they won't do it is suggest: -

1) he explains that he is your supervisor...
2) provides business location and contact number.
3) if there is a reason he can't do it on company letter head it would help for Him to outline this.

Provides all details as requested by cic. Good luck yahoo.

Hi Everyone,

I want to apply for CEC according to the new rules. I have one year experience from September 2010 - August 2011. Also, I have ielts which is valid for another 3-4 months. Am i eligible to apply?? I have already applied for FSW2, can I apply for CEC without withdrawing the other one? Also, all the documents like experience, ielts etc must be valid till the application date or valid till it get processed? Please reply

Hi All,
Recently my supervisor left my company, but before he left, he told me that I can still use him as a reference for CIC since he wrote my employment letter. On the employment letter there are his company phone number and cell phone number. Should I write a letter to CIC stating that my supervisor has left the company, but still ok to contact him at his cell phone?
Thanks to anyone who can provide advices.

All / Andy,

I have a question to ask to the group, could be related to the post by BK11 - IELTS score is generally valid for 2 years. what if your processing crosses IELTS expiry date. At the time of applying IELTS was valid but processing may take more than 2 years ( in case of FSW) and so ...is there possibility that VO may require you to write another IELTS exam.

Thanks,
BAHADUR

There are no clear guidelines on this requirement. Based on the CEC PR processing timelines as on the date of application (which is 13 months now), the IELTS validity is required to cover the processing period. So if anyone applying today, needs to just make sure that his / her IELTS validity is until April 2014. If any further delay, CIC is good with the scorecard you already provided.

You can use language test results for two years from the time you take the test. This means that your IELTS score should not be more than 2 years old at the time when you submit your application.
