Nepalese settled in Quebec via QSW program

Hello everyone, i wan't to know whether anyone of we Nepalese have settled down in quebec via the QSW program. Currently i'm in a document collection phase and would be applying within few month through nursing profession. How long will it take to us Nepalese to have certificate of selection for quebec while applying from Nepal??? As i've seen in this forum some frens have even wrote that it may take upto 3 years only for the selection certificate, true??? Please give me a clear insight on the QSW program which we (me & my spouse) would be applying from Nepal? Hoping for your prompt response.

hi vishal,
i don;t know how many ppl get visa by quebec immigration.i had applied for csq on August 2013 and still now we didn't get any response.
I called to quebec immigration and they told me that only for csq it will take 2-3 years....so it's gonna be a long wait.
i suggest you to try from federel cuz recenltly they opened the federal part also.....which gonna be fast than quebec and save your time and money as well.

Did you got your AOR by regular mail or by email. can you plz tell me that format of your AOR number.I just want to know the format not your real AOR number.

Hi,

MICC may send AOR either ordinary mail or e-mail .Both approaches are possible. If there begins with HA.......... and numbers ,that is definitely your dossier(file number). Have you not received AOR yet Aarun ji?

Quebec has recently published new processing time on the basis of territory and individual countries. For Nepal, 41 months for initial verification, 1to 3 months for another review and finally 1 to 9 months for issuance of selection certificate.....in total more than 53 months for CSQ alone and don't forget to add time taken for federal process i.e 11 months for Nepal. (53+11=64)

High degree of patience is needed to immigrate Quebec. Can you wait that long....?

Thanks Subash ji, for your response. Still now i didn't get any response for AOR via email or regualr mail.
I contact them by email and the email that they replied has HA...some numbers in subject line but in content section no information about AOR.
My consultant told me that number is AOR so i have to wait for email or regular mail.
It's been more than 2-3 month that i got that email but still now i didn't get any official email or regular mail for my AOR.

quebec will not issue us pr it only sellect us weather we r capable or not pr is stamped by the federall i.e canadian government

Dear Lata,

Yes ,this is long process compared to any other immigration program in the universe. I think,following points are to be considered for not getting selection certificate.

- If you do not have sufficient points for selection
- Documents submitted are not genuine( educational,experience,language and civil status)
- Most importantly,if you are unable to provide documents requested by them in the specified format as per 'Documents Submitted in Support of the Selection Certificate' form (documents for social security contribution and payment of taxation for both spouse and applicant)
- If they find you do not have even basic level of french in case interview is required.

Apart from this, QSW is finalized in two steps. After you have been selected again you need to apply for federal government for PR. For your information,federal government carry out just security and medical examinations. I am sure that your first step will be finalized in about 18-24 months if you are nurse.
