Hi All,
I have applied for open work permit on 23rd of october 2012 at VFS . Prior to that I already got visitor visa stamped in september ( which is valid till october 2013).But i applied for workers visa as I couldn't travel before december and i had the time. I have recieved the reply from embassy on 21st November 2012 that your application is awaiting review by visa officer.But after that i haven't recieved any update.

I have my tickets booked for 15th december . I expect that there should not be any issue as I got visitoir stamped in september and i have already submitted my medical at that time. Can you guide , what could be the reason for delay? I have not recieved any request for medical or interview till now?

No updates yet.
But passport was submitted through VFS. When you do medicals, they will provide some kind of receipt.
You just need to submit passport and receipt.
