@scargee, thanks! ikaw ba may relatives din? kung wala, try mo ikaw na lang magregister as a workaround. also may nabasa ako sa blog (ni gray ninja ata) na yung wife nya ay may relative pero successful yung NB application nila

@all, I just noticed that the eligibility criteria "have attended an information session within the past 2 yrs" has disappeared from the NB website. maybe this is the reason why livinginnb says they will be back in april with employers who might offer JOs? looks like NB will require JOs moving fwd correct me if im wrong pls

I think pwede naman magregister kahit walang ielts. Tapos, nakalagay na candidates shd begin preparing ielts, eca before their april return. IMO u shd take the opportunity to attend this feb- nothing to lose naman

I will attend the info session on Feb 19, 2017. I already got the confirmation email but no venue yet.

I will be turning 40 on Feb 3 so nabawasan points ko. 66 na lang, kapos ng 1 point. I have 15 years extensive work experience in NOC 0601 and the proof of funds is readily available.

What do you think are my chances?

Hi Yubby888. Kaka register lang din, gaano katalaga bago makuha ang confirmation email? Ang natanggap ko palang yung nakasulat na we will send follow-up email to confirm registration. mukhang mataas naman chances mo. nag ielts ka na ba at wes?

Mga sir naisip ko na medyo mahirap ata umasa if magkakaron ulit ng open category na info session ang NB eh dun lang ako makakapag pasa.

Correct me if im wrong and enlighten na din. May nabasa kasi ako na if maka obtain ka ng student permit eh pwede ka mag work 4 hours a day while studying saka pwede pa isama asawa with open work permit. Tama po ba? Thank you.

Hello mark. Actually iniisip din namin mag student visa. Nakatanggap na ako ng acceptance letter pero hinintay ko pa update sa 2 kong applications. Kaso sobrang gastos talaga sya kasi ang dapat ang show money mo, tuition fee + 10,000 cad (for student) + 4,000 (for spouse/any other dependent)= show money na dapat ipakita. Pwede mo din isama asawa mo for open work permit (owp) pero yung approval nya mag dedepend din kung gaano katagal ang studies mo. for example, if nag aral ka ng 1 year graduate diploma, yung spouse mo may owp na 1 year din. Happy ako na may Info session ang NBNP ulit. Hinhintay namin ito since Sept last year. sana swertehin para hindi na mapagastos hehe

Based kasi kami sa middle east.. bakasyon kami pinas sa april kaya mejo napapaisip kung uwi ba kami sa feb para lang sa info session or hintayin na lang april para ndi doble gastos.. :-\

Ako din nakpagregister na. Madami naba nagregister? Submission id ko at 113. Is it first come first serve basis? Waiting nlang ako n magconfirm sa location at date. May eca at ielts nadin po ako. Sana madami tayo makuha this time.

Tanong ko lang po...yun po bang submission id no ay ang queue no. natin based sa dami na ng nagpasa?

Update update nlang po in case nareciv na ung email confirmation na may nakalagay na place of event. Sana nga marami sila makuha ngayon.

Nirerequire po ba specifically ang wes assesment? Ung eca ko kasi ay ICES.

Yup auto-email ung 1st email pra malaman mo ung submission id mo.
Then next email meron confirmation sa venue location at time,
usually mga 3-5days prior sa date na kinuha mo cla mgsend ng email.
Pang-2nd time ko na umattend kc last nov naka-attend na ko pro di
pa ko pinalad that time since employer driven na ung info session

Hopefully this time maging positive na since 4 Atlantic Provinces ang
kasama sa Atlantic immigration program nila. Kaya super goodluck
to all of us and Prayers din.
