3. Leadership and Management in Nursing

Does anyone have experience coming from the USA with a BSN, have written NCLEX.
Hi. It all depends if you did bsn from usa? I did mine from the states as well but only thing changes is that you don't have to submit english language test and nclex as it's the same exam.

Rest of the process is the same as you still need to apply through NNAS and send them all the stuff they ask you to submit. Most of the BSN from states is comparable to Canada but if your BSN is from other than USA then more than like it will be not comparable.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello guys, do I need to complete NNAS before applying for the PNP for express entry? I'm afraid I can't get the PNP without the NNAS. My CRS score is around 415. Thank you for your time.

Hi guys , I did my master's of nursing from india
I got NNAS advisory report as non comparable for RN and somewhat comparable for LPN .
Can anyone suggest me what does it mean .

Secondly I have already passed NCLEX-RN from California board of nursing in 2009. Will CNO consider it ?
What is the process to get the information related to it
Thank you in anticipation

I am also at same situation
Can anyone elaborate that my US passed NCLEX-RN would be valid ?
Unfortunately, no. Only for the applicants who passed NCLEX-RN exam on or after Jan. 1, 2015.

On Mar. 4, 2021, Council decided that the approved process for evaluating Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) applicants for registration as an RN in Ontario be amended to include passing the NCLEX-RN exam.

IEN applicants who apply to CNO after completing the NNAS process and who have been identified as not having equivalent nursing knowledge, skill and judgment based on the NNAS’ nursing education assessment will now meet the nursing education requirement, if they successfully completed the NCLEX-RN exam on or after Jan. 1, 2015.

Passing the exam will serve as evidence that an applicant has demonstrated the required entry-level nursing knowledge, skill and judgment to meet the nursing education requirement.

Hi everyone
I had filled in NNAS for my wife and applied for evaluation for RN and LPN for Ontario Province. She is BSc Nurse with 10+ years work experience. But we were surprised when we got the final report as Not Comparable for both.
I wanted to check if we should now wait for CNO to write back to us or should we click on the link on NNAS to register.
did you apply for CNO. What was the result?
