Under normal application, it takes the Nairobi office about 7 to 8 months to process your application for Ethiopian visa to Canada. Due to the covid 19, processing times may take a lot longer now. My spouse was approved and in Canada in 11 months. Just be patient

My timeline is
AR 22 Oct
AOR 14 Nov
Biometrics 14 Jan
File moved to Nairobi VO 22 Jan
Medical requested 27 Feb
Medical received 10 March
No update after that

I think the VO isn’t operating but heard it will start operations on 1st Aug.

Congratulations to you! At least you have your medical request. You might be the first one to receive PPR immediately they open. Please keep us posted. From what source did you hear about August 1st opening?

Let us hope so. It has been almost two years since I saw my wife.
