If you are in Nairobi, they will call you
If outside of Nairobi, they will send thru a DHL/Armax/TNT or if there's a consulate in your country, they will send thru diplomatic pouch and you pick up your passports there. Hope this will help

MALAG...seems your reply is very much feasible.

In their PPR & RPRF letter, VO specifically asked for my updated phone numbers.

:)

I pray the Lord that we'll get our passports this week as I'm planning to land before March 7, 2013 in Quebec.
Good luck for us :P

During this course of waiting, some myths were broken such as:

1. Ecase status gets updated o Tuesdays.......actually it can be anytime, even during weekends.
2. PP are received after the status changes to DM.......many applicants got back their PP without any change in their Ecas status.

so, nothing is certain here.

thanks for this update, my hope is on its climax now...I can't wait...... :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

FSW Applicant,
Welcome to this thread, and we encourage for this long lasting waiting.
Looking at your timeline, you're close to the goal ;)

Dear members
sorry for not responding early l was busy this days. i send my pp on oct 8 2012 through DHL and i get it back through dHL call, my Ecas didn't change when i check before i get back my pp. one thing i understand after they issue the visa they immediately send back to u so no long time is take after it is issued in my case they issue it on 16 and i get it back on 17 so open u'r phone and wait u'r call u will get it before the medical expires i wish u good luck .

Dear Tity,
Thanks for your information and it has really helped.

Are you based in Nairobi? If yes, did DHL call you or NVO called you before sending you the passports?

Also do you mean that your Ecas status was still "In process" and not "Decision Made" when you got back your passport?

Pls let us know!

Dear Tity & mr_rana,
I'm curious to know about the process too. When did you have your Medical, was it sent to London too ?
Are you asking for CSQ or a different type?...please give us details as we are looking forward to receiving our passports too.
thanks in advance

My medical was done in mid. of October and yes, as per the procedure, it went to RMA London for final approval.
Finally I submitted my PP + RPRF on 26th Nov. and it's been a little less than 2 months as of now since I made our submissions.

In case of Tity, I guess he submitted his PP on 8th October and got back on 17th Jan, took almost a little over 3 months.
So looking at Tity's timeline, we can make some assumptions.

Hope it helps!

thanks for your quick response, but I start worrying as my passport was sent few days after I sent the first medical sometimes on September 17, 2012. How do they do the background check, after the medical or before the medical. Is yours a CSQ (Certificat de Selection du Quebec)or different type ? they started to work on my request since February 2012. Please share your thought

As I came to know recently, final security & background checks are done AFTER the medicals are over and the PP have been submitted.
And if the applicant has stayed in many countries, it may take long to finish background checks.

I'm a FSW 2 applicant.

Dear mr-rana
yes my process office is in Nairobi, i take medical on mid sep and send my pp after 3 weeks later after medical was taken as i was told by the NVO. after that i wait for one month and i send them an email around Nov, to update me about the process they answered me after a month by saying [u'r file is in quire for final review ] after that i wait very long and send them an email on Dec again but didn't get any reply after that on jan 17 2013 i get a call from DHL in the afternoon. NVO didn't contact me after that Nov email they will not contact u until they finished or unless they want some thing from u. about my ecas status i was not changed even after i get my pp.
