There is an update on ecas it says sponsership application status "Decision Made" under PR it says in process anyone get the same update?

Yes, I have the same. I was excited to see a DM for a sec... Then I realized its one side only.

Hey people. At what time do they ask for more documents or more proof of relationship? I didn't know about this forum until after I sent my package. Our proof was only pictures and our marriage cert. When I read what people sent it freaks me out..... ???

I beleive its when your file is transferred to NBO, they start processing your file and are about to make a decision on ur file. They will email you for more supporting docs or just queue you for an interview. What's your timeline now?

Hello Sharon,

They only ask for more supporting documents and more proof of the relationship once the file has been transferred to NBO. But if your relationship has no red flags like big age gap, short courtship period, the couple for example having only met once during marriage after meeting online e.t.c then they the never ask for further documents or more proof that your relationship is genuine.

I hope they are ok with just the pictures . I'm ok to give more proof but I feel that can be a setback. Anyways, just praying and hoping...

My motto don't worry unless they give u reason to. So just wait and see if they'll request anything.

Awfully quiet in here, regarding updates. I guess not a lot of ppl are on this forum, but I wonder what the pace is now? Have you heard anything new outside this forum recently, regarding More DM's or PPR from NBO??

I guess the thread is a bit quiet though active.
I am waiting to hear something positive after sending the passport and the extra documents requested. We have just begun the 3rd week.

It seems very few people from Nairobi office are in the forum. Dar seem more active than us. We are hoping for the best and this thread at some point will be active and will help the future applicants.

Please let's keep our NBO family warm.

I have a quick question, my passport will expire in few months. If I renew it now and upon passport request, I send the new passport, would that complicate?
