Hello,

We can't really say whether it's good or bad. It means, your application has gone to "in process" and will soon be in the final stages of review.
That doesn't give any indication on their thoughts or decision.

But, the good thing, is that you should hear back soon! I hope you get good news soon! Keep us posted! :)

Try calling Nairobi office, or sending them an email to update your email address.

Hello everyone again ! i sent my wife email wrong with my application and how can i correct that ? the application was transferred to kenya on January and how they gonna contact ? i got stuck and don't know wat to do, if i emailed now they can't get back to me as they reply with in 28 days , and do u guys think they will send out by regular mail to my wife ? thanks

Hello my fellow people im barely on this but I want to give you a brief update on my status application I filled for November 3 2014 to be exact and got my file approved as a sponsor and transferred on Feburary 12 2015. My file started to process in Nairobi on March 5 2015 and got an email from the embassy stating that since my husband didn't have a valid passport to enter Canada for me to contact IOM in Ottawa and pay for his airfare. So I did all of that and aswell I didn't pay RPRF which they asked for aswell so payed that all off on the 17th of March. Obviously as all of you guys probably know paying for any fee takes up to 3 weeks for cic mississuaga to update and let which ever vo you are so with that being said finally on April 3 tried looking up my ecas but it wasn't working so I tried my husband and there you have it decison made for permanent residence. Super shocked mainly because Nairobi was know to be one of the slowest visa office in the world to find out my whole process took exactly 6 month from exactly the day I sent it crazy. So just wanted to let you guys know Nairobi has obviously did improved and to expect a fast respone from in process to decison made which took 1 month literally so the best luck to you all and will Forsure keep you in updated on the next thing that happens

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D !!! sweet

Hello my friend's ! i wanted to ask some question about information update , here is my question my wife sent a mail to update her email to Nairobi / kenya visa office as it was wrong email sent before and medical information sheet ( with out VO request ) BY mail from ethiopia , VO received the mail today , i was wondering how long will it take them to update or they will update as they get the mail ? and are they update her process update on my E-CAS ( if anything needed as they don't have her right email ) ? 2ndly sending her email wrong can delay her process? appreciated !!

Visa office will probably take a while to reply back I don't know I can be wrong but your best bet is to let CIC mississuaga know and they will update it in there system and the visa office will see that and follow it you can try that best of luck

thanks Daizzy for your + advice but i just checked cic website saying that '' you have to let the Vo office know for change of personal information '' i guess my wife did the right thing ( sent the info by mail to Nairobi VO ) i only contact cic here in canada if my information is changed (as a sponsor ) am i rit ?

Most on this site are getting their PR from Nairobi in 8 months. But the CIC website estimates 27 months. Why the difference? Please explain.

I guess thats the maximum cic processing standard , some times we don't send our application complete , missing documents boa boa .. , they will send u to complete , submit required documents so and so.. that all it takes time but if ur application is complete , no request of any documents bum in 8 months :P :P :P :P hope some one will explain more ..

It has been sooo quiet-no word from Nairobi at all...the wait is starting to get really long.
Application still shows "Received"

But hey- atleast Spring is finally here!

I've noticed that my self tok they have been a bit too silent if you ask me I got a decision made on ecas almost a little over two weeks ago no communication through phone, mail or email what so ever on what the decision is and what's going to happen next hopefully we here from them before this month ends I hope

I think we will hear some good news close to the end of the month. Especially for those who have had some movement on their Ecas. Here's to praying for good news soon!!!
