Hello,
I am a sponsor for my wife who is applying for her PR, after we submitted our applications we received our AOR at the end of May and then I linked the MyCIC account to her application on Jun 1st. According to the guide we should have requests for additional information but there are no messages other than the one telling us the day that the account was linked to the application. The "details" section of her application states "your action is required" and yet when I check the status there are no messages detailing or requesting us to do something. It's all very confusing. Has something gone wrong or is it normal to have to wait like this? It's been close to 15 days since we linked the account and I'm getting nervous as I thought we had about 30 days to upload the Shedule A form. Should I be calling directly? Any suggestions? Who should I call if I need to do so?

Unfortunately it's a glitch that occurred from about the 3rd of June. Says your action is required but you can't see any messages. I do believe CIC also has a response to this on their website letting everyone know it's a technical issue which has been resolved for some and they're still working on it. If you want to be 100% sure feel free to call the centre.
In other words, there's actually no message and no action is required.

Secondly, as a sponsor you will not be able to link an account or create a cic go key account but you do have access to ECAS. Simply log in with your details and the application or UCI number. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

So it's not normal to have for example, a Schedule A request as soon as you link your account? I can understand why they wouldn't ask for a medical right away but you'd think that you could upload the Schedule A right away.

It's hard to say. Do you have a representative? If not, did you receive an email or letter requesting you to upload the schedule A?

Also I suggest hitting the reply button when you respond or else no one would know whether you responded unless they intentionally clicked on this thread again.

Thank you for your advice Dominic. I just tried to call them and I see that it's not possible to do so outside of Canada. What a pain in the butt.
Well I suppose I'll send in a web request.

That was going to be my next question. Yes you can't call if applying Outland. However, do keep in mind that Outland applications are usually faster.
