Thank you for the suggestions and guidance all through my journey with CIC. I wanna share the outcome. Hopefully this post might help for few others out there.
Dec 01,2012 - Applied for student visa from India.
Dec 23,2012- Approved.
Jan 12,2012 - Landed as student.
June 17, 2012 / July 17 2012 - Applied for off campus work permit. Received. (Not relevant to current CIC)
April 30, 2013 - Graduated
July 16,2013 - Open Work permit approved but issued until expiry of passport.
Sep 15,2015 - Open Work permit given for balance of time remaining, with new passport on hand.
July 15, 2016 - CIC received package of paper application for WP extension indicating employer is in the process of LMIA, motive is not to run out of status.
July 17,2016 - Open Work permit Expired.
*************IMPLIED STATUS********
Sep 21,2016 - Received iTA under CEC.
Nov 01, 2016 - Extension rejected since no LMIA is generated.(Couple of attempts by employer and in return incomplete application)
**********RESTORATION OF STATUS OR LEAVE CANADA WITH IN 90 DAYS. *************
Stopped working immediately.
Nov 03, 2016- Applied for permanent residency.
Nov 16,2016 - Restoration of status to visitor.
Nov 22, 2016 - medicals updated to passed.
Dec 21, 2016 - restoration of status to visitor until 17 June 2017- Approved.
************HOPING TO GET PERMANENT RESIDENCY IN THE MEANWHILE ***************
