I could not remember exactly when I took medical exam, I'll say Nov 23th
Background check "in progress" seemed to be started on Dec 6th when I submitted S4 when my CIC is down

update on my part. today, my bc status changed back to "not started"., so only yesterday it was "not needed at this time". You can add this info to the spread sheet, who knows if this is relevant at all...

i am on same boat just today i saw my cic account My background check went from in progress to not needed at this time. without any e-mail informationi did not open my cic since Friday . dont know what will happen .

Can some one really clear misty about job bank and status change from bg in process to not needed at this time ....

There can be hundreds of reasons for this. The cases might be delayed because of officer or office being changed, cases being passed to local vo's, additional document request or they might delay the processing because of syrian cases. The comfort for me is that I am not the only one with this situation. Waiting is the only option we all have.
