Need a guidance. I have a friend in Manitoba who is ready to be my sponsor but we are not of same nationality. So in this case, can he sponsor me? will there be any issue ? Kindly help me.

As long as he can prove the state of your relationshiop/ connection, i dont see any problem.

i have not recieved AOR till now ,even if am an august applicant.my visa office is new delhi.still waiting for any further progress.

Hi, Can anyone tell me, In MPNP (General stream) Will my case become strong if I submit my spouse's IELTS along with my )Principal Applicant) IELTS result ?? Will I get more points by submitting 2 ielts result ?

and what if my children also has academic ielts and they are included in my application "MPNP (General stream)". I already have their valid ielts result. Will it make my case strong ?

I have applied for MPNP under General Stream in DECEMBER 2011 and IELTS SUBMITTED IN JANUARY 2013 but did not recieved any information regarding my application status from concerning authorities. Even i have not recieved the acknowledge letter till date. Could anyone tell me how much time is required for the processing of application?

I think we're having the same situation.... AOR arrived almost 8months after submission to MPNP.
What's the latest update regarding your application?

Mine, no news, no interview yet , no email and mail until now.....

I also apply under GS(my friend submit the application) 2012 July still no any reply.when I'm apply I did not submit settlement plane because in that time only settlement plane should apply to only online applicant(according to the site). Now Manitoba site update and they ask SP should I submit SP now?

dear seniors .. please tell me can a friend sponser for MNIP general stream, i have one friend (best friend), who is PR of canada and living in mannitoba from 8 months and willing to sponser me. my occupation profession veterinarian is not in federal priority list, can i apply for general stream of MNIP. Is thier occupation priority list or general stream open to certain occupations ? am i eligible ? and how much is waiting time period i heard it is 12-18 months according to mannitoba govt immigration website please guide me ..thanks in advance..

Yes, he can sponsor you but you have to wait until he reach 1 year as landed immigrant. MPNP will assess your overall qualifications such as work, english proficiency, experience and adaptability. The usual processing time for MPNP is 6 months- 9 months, this is just an observation, i maybe wrong. BTW, they have changed their point system, so i advice you to visit their website.

thanks for reply, Dear - Is general stream plan applicable to limited or certain occupations ? since my profession is veterinarian (NOC 3114). I meet minimum requirement of 60 points under new selection grid effective from 1st April 2013. I score around 75 points out of 100. When i will apply, my friend will complete 1 year stay in Manitoba.Mean while I am writing licensing exams in my country India hope licensing process continued in India can give priority in processing they may think candidate is already going through license process and will get license shortly after landing in Manitoba rather than other applicants. Is thier occupation priority list for Manitoba immigration ?

According to latest news by Manitoba immigration, now GENERAL STREAM candidates can also apply ONLINE application for MNIP, I heard that online application is much faster than paper application, earlier ONLINE application was eligible for Close ratlive or family sponsorship plan, i heard that now we can apply online under GENERAL stream MNIP application. I heard that waiting time for letter of confirmation LOA from close friend is 6-8 months and federal application CIC time is 8 months total 16-18 months . Am i right ?
