I just wanted to provide an update that we got our PPR today! We are very excited! Thank you for the help with answering our questions everyone! We have more work to do, but we're excited for our next steps!

File Received: 29th June
AOR: 19th Sep.
SA: 18th Oct (letter received via Mailbox)
File Transferred to Mississauga: 5th Nov (letter received via mailbox on 30th Nov)
Medical Request: 16th Nov
Background Check Starts: 16th Nov
Medical Test: 23rd Nov
Medical Passed: 30th Nov
Decision Made: 24th Dec. (or Ecas updated on 24th Dec Night)
PPR: 24th January.

PS: each update took a month in my case and few communications like SA or File transferred were received via mail (Canada post).

Congrats .. I feel really happy wen someone gets thru..its relaxing wen u get at the end of this long long struggle..happy days!!!

Oh yes! And, thank you! I was walking our dog and got the email. Overjoyed and elated; I just can't believe it is near the end. I started in December 2017 and had some medical hiccups, so I am glad that I finally get to start to build my life with my wife in Canada. Happy days indeed!

Has anyone scheduled a landing appointment recently after receiving their COPR from CPC-Mississauga or in the Toronto/Mississauga area? Does anyone know how long it takes to get an appointment currently?

Hello!
Does anyone go to Québec? We are from France and we are waiting for our CSQ. Our file was transferred to Mississauga instead of Paris. We don't know why. I read on this forum that might be a good new because Mississauga is faster. Is it true? Does anyone have a similar situation?

Just a question. i'll be applying for my spouse's sponsorship this month (Outland applicant). I have a question, why some files are getting transferred to local VO while others to Mississauga? Is there any reason in particular?

My biometric done 12th feb but on GCKey still need finger print. My file proceeds in CPC Mississauga. I am a Principal Applicant. I done my biometric DhakaVAC. But they sent me email
“The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at Singapore OC, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center Singapore OC.” My question is why they sent this Singapore, my application processed in Mississauga. Now I m little bit worried .
