I am March 2018 Applicant and Passed the Test on April 2019, Till today I have not received anything about my Oath and my status is still In Process.
Does anybody have any idea? They lost my file or they do that intentionally? More than years ????!!!

we don't know when it will be live though.. they are still evaluating. Whether someone received invite for virtual tests already?

What were average timelines for processing of citizenship applications in Mississauga before Covid? I will be applying along with my 2 kids.

Hello friends
I’m preparing my citizenship application. I’m a truck driver and I receive my paycheque on my incorporation. I’m bit confused here whether I should mention myself as self employed or not. I’ve asked few and the answers are mixed. Please help. Thanks

I always thought "my incorporation" means self employed...

Not always, it depends On how much Control you have on business. As a company driver I’ve almost no control on my holiday, pay, equipment etc. It’s not clear on CRA website. So I’m bit confused.

Hi All,

I am March 20th 2019 applicant from Mississauga, Test done on 9th January 2020 and status is Decision made from Scarborough office the next day.

No Oath invite yet, did anyone heard for Oath yet with a similar timeline?

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 5, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 17, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on January 21, 2019.
  4. We sent you a notice on October 23, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 18, 2019 at 12:45 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

ALMOST 2 YEARS !! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MISSISSAUGA OFFICE !!!!

Self employed since it is your own incorporation (I assume single ownership). You can also request CRA.. "Request a CPP/EI Ruling"
