I do not know how they will arrange an interview.?
i don't know either... sometimes it's done in the PA's country directly if you are lucky but with covid i don't think they go to most and Embassy remains for the majority of cases closed to public

Any PA coming from Trinidad to Canada and require an exemption? There are conflicting messages if you are departing Trinidad where you need to apply for an exemption? Is this true? My spouse got her PR and planning on flying in March.

PR and spouse are exempt from entries mesures as far as i know. (whether where they live) but needs to pass a covid PCR test within 72 hours from departure (that is new since Jan7th) and now they require a full plan of isolation to let you in.

Hi everyone. I received my passport request last week. My husband is Canadian and I'm from Trinidad. We're October 2019 applicants.

See below my timeline:

App received - Oct 7, 2019
Bio - Nov 29, 2019
SA Approval - Nov 25, 2019
Transferred to Mexico (email) - Dec 3, 2019
Medical Request - December 5, 2020 (1 year later)
Pre-Arrival email - Jan 6, 2021
Passport request - January 8, 2021
Hey congratulations, I have the same timeline as you I am hoping to hear soon too in the grace of God. Btw when did your security verifications get done? They said ours hadn’t be initiated yet but we have the same time as you, medical, bio everything. Just wondering. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated

PR Card just received yesterday :) Officially the end,

Entered November 17th ... PR CARD Jan 6th not so bad in timing

If any want advices or any help , i'll stay around to look at the forum for a while.
You're lucky you got your wife's PR card already. We arrived on October 26th and still haven't received it!! It was supposed to take 2 months they told us at the Vancouver Airport but the system now says 128 days which is just over 4 months!! It just seems that the frustrations with this whole damned process never quits because you can't get a medical card, or provincial ID card in BC without a PR card.

There is a very good chance he will have to travel back to Costa Rica in the next couple of months and won't be able to travel without a PR card!

Wow! That’s surprising long time I got my PR also last week landed nov 17 in my possession already, I’m wondering if is because BC has a different processing center?
I know of a friend in SK who got also PR two weeks ago.

I’m staying around with Pat;) any questions ask us

I have no idea but since you can't get anyone on the phone all I can do is send a webform and hope for an answer on the status of it. Really concerning that it takes that long now since the 'rules' say that if you don't have your PR card in 6 months you have to start the process all over again and I don't have the money to do that again!! Or the patience, I think I'd rather shoot myself.

I don't believe the PR cards are processed in any different part of Canada no matter where you live. Ours is being processed in Nova Scotia, is that not where yours came from?
