Really? Like which ones?
Im very sad, did not expect this
They said this to a respond to my inquiry of the eligibility status. Ecase and gckey are not showing anything.
I hope it happens soon if its a phone call.
I saw it in this forum that a few members received phone interviews. I'm not sure which countries

I don't believe the PR cards are processed in any different part of Canada no matter where you live. Ours is being processed in Nova Scotia, is that not where yours came from?
I didn't even look to be honest. I've never heard there's a time limit to receive your card before having to start over. Especially because you cannot control how long it takes but I doubt they would require you to start over. If that is a rule they would likely extend.

I have no idea but since you can't get anyone on the phone all I can do is send a webform and hope for an answer on the status of it. Really concerning that it takes that long now since the 'rules' say that if you don't have your PR card in 6 months you have to start the process all over again and I don't have the money to do that again!! Or the patience, I think I'd rather shoot myself.
i would verify directly with the airport she entered if the request has been done correctly. (Soft landing)

when you enter ECAS says

"You entered Canada at the Pearson,Lester B.,Terminal No. 1 Airport office on November 17, 2020 and became a Permanent Resident. "

Permanent Residence Application Status : Complete

if i was you i would look at this.

She is from cuba :(
heum... well i don't know about Cuba all their cases are redirected to Mexico itself. I really don't know if embassy are doing interviews or so on. I know Cuba are now welcoming Visitors which is a good news in a way cause this country live by tourism.

I would def order notes and try to overcome their doubt and sending them additionnal proofs (which i did , without even been asked, never an interview been in the portrait either. )

AS in

to let them know. we applied a year before but the relationship is still on and rolling (proofs of visits ,communication, celebration , gifts , whatever that could make them clearly state that is genuine )

like "hey we applied in 2019 but here's some developments that happened since we applied." and then you list stuffs , events. Usually is what they are waiting for , they say not to send them a lot of requests but actually is wrong , we need to show the serious of the case and provide them extra proofs is in major case a boost to your app. Can eventually waive an interview yes... is a possibility.

Our case was marked as "Review required" usually means you'll pass into the interview ...., but it never happened after the batch of proofs sent , it's been approved. Worth the try.

I've sent a unique PDF with pictures, letters, proofs of passport stamps and so on explaining on each one what was the purpose of the proof. I think it really helped the case.

Yes, all is normal on eCas however, we still don't have the card, so as usual just wait!

Yes is where mine came from NS, however i do know of a friend who’s in Alberta and PR came from ontario processing center... if ECAS show is completed is just waiting for it now, as long as you have that in ECAS all is good.

Hey congratulations, I have the same timeline as you I am hoping to hear soon too in the grace of God. Btw when did your security verifications get done? They said ours hadn’t be initiated yet but we have the same time as you, medical, bio everything. Just wondering. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated
Thanks. Sorry, I'm not sure. We had no communication for a year after the application was transferred to Mexico (Dec 2019), and then medical, prearrival and passport requests all came within one month (Dec -Jan 2021).

Any PA coming from Trinidad to Canada and require an exemption? There are conflicting messages if you are departing Trinidad where you need to apply for an exemption? Is this true? My spouse got her PR and planning on flying in March.
She would need an exemption to leave Trinidad.
"Nationals and permanent residents seeking to depart must submit their request for exemption to the email address departexemption@mns.gov.tt for the consideration of the Minister of National Security."

Thank you that really help us bec we have the same timeline, so I am guessing that would be the same for us too.

I am so furious about post-covid applications being approved ahead of all of us who have been waiting for 1-2 years. It is grossly unfair, I word I try not to use in this process because I realize it is inherently unfair. But it is so beyond ridiculous that they are reviewing and approving applications just because they were sent digitally over all of us whose hands are tied with a paper application. I wrote a very passionate letter to my MP about this which she hasn't acknowledged. Someone in her office tried to defend Mexico and the IRCC but there is no defense for this.

The really frustrating thing is that there is also no recourse for us. We literally have to just sit here and take it, sit here and wait like chumps. It is a horrible.
This is called discrimination. IRCC has been sued and lost when they discriminate by the way of rushing the applcations for parents on jan1st of each year. Pepole having less digital skills or those living in areas with lower internet speed were discriminated.
IRCC settled quietly. By giving those who sued the residence.
Our case looks very similar

Just logged into gckey after months of not checking. Looks like the website had maintenance Jan 16th. Did anyone else lose the link for "Web Form"? Also, the bar with the timeline saying when my app should be complete is now gone. They probably removed it cuz its been more than 2 F***ING years and doesn't have any value.

My husband is waiting for an interview (Nov 2018 app). Medical was renewed once already; will expire a second time in April 2021. I emailed them last time for an extension and it was granted. I'll do the same thing again in February as the SECOND expiration nears
