Oh MC, I am sure it probably has been issued and its just taking its long journey from Mexico to Canada :) Hopefully you hear something very soon :)

hehe, thanks missmymexi. I know i shouldnt complain but I have just been so frusterated these past few days. Is it possible my AOR from Mexico could come via regular mail? Everyone seems to get it via email!

Well lets hope that is the hold up that they sent it via post ! Have you tried making an enquiry or is that possible before receiving the AOR ? Hold in there, its got to come soon !

It has been two weeks but seems like two months. And yet it still doesn't feel permanent. We went to a farmer's market today which was SO awesome. And DH is starting the job hunt. We are working on his resume today and he has an appointment with the Employment Center next week. Hopefully it doesn't take too long because I know he will be MUCH happier when he is employed. Thanks for asking!
Sounds like you are slowly making it your home ... your own Cheers burrito hang-out and discovering the farmer's market. Good luck on the job hunt!

Excellent 8)

P.S. Hopefully they get it before issuing the AOR and PGR request and it will all be in the file the first time they look at it :)

We sent the prepaid waybill after we got the letter... we didnt know we could before.. it took 10 days for them to send it after that.. it was supposed to arrive to my husbands place today but we had huge issues with the courier and my husbands apt is kinda difficut to get to.. so he has to try to get the package from them some how... i hope he can get it soon and get the pgr asap we are at the 30 day mark of our 60 day deadline..

There is something i dont understand:
When they ask for the PGR (Certificados de policia Originales) it's written:

that we have to give them:
Certificado de policia ..... "para usted i su pareja"

Do I, as canadian, do have to do also the request for that Certificate ????
Or if it's only for my mexican wife... ???? It's kind of weird.... :o

What do you think ??%??

Tks !
