i just received an email regarding the sponsorship of my mexican wife...
I guess it's an "aor" from mexico...

2 documents were in attachment:

- > on the first one:
saying when they received the permanent residency request
they give an UCI# _____ & Request # ______

- > on the second one:
they ask for the: original police certificates:
1- PGR
2- SSP
3- FBI CERTIFICATE

** 90 days delay allowed to send all documents requested ** commentary written on the page...

I have some questions can somebody help me with that ? :
1- For all certificates do they have a valid time ( or if they expire after x days ) ?
2- Is there any way to extend the 90 days allowed time ?
3- they say that I will receive a letter by mail for: making the PGR Request (is that letter only for this request ) or it is needed for the FBI check and SSP ?
4- Any idea of the delays each one takes ?

Tks so much for the community ;) !!!

Congrats on the AORs!!! :D

Congrats!!! That's awesome news!!! Looks like they're moving along which is great for all of us. Does the second letter say that the PGR letter was being mailed out today? If so, once they receive your waybill do u think they'll mail out a copy?

I would if you and I have the same immigration officer?? lol

Yeah I wondered that too.. I don't know. We just sent them a prepaid waybill yesterday, so then will get it on Monday. I know two people here have recently done the same thing.

ok updated the spreadsheet for the following people:

iscoezy
Americaninto
canadagirl78
Tsjunx
Chuladaa
Taschj
Tsauretbaxter

Please double check to make sure all the info is correct and also let me know if I missed anyone :)

Thanks! So how is everyone settling in??
It has been two weeks but seems like two months. And yet it still doesn't feel permanent. We went to a farmer's market today which was SO awesome. And DH is starting the job hunt. We are working on his resume today and he has an appointment with the Employment Center next week. Hopefully it doesn't take too long because I know he will be MUCH happier when he is employed. Thanks for asking!

I wonder too lol... the other two members that you mentioned, did they send the waybill after the letter was sent? Who are they if you don't mind sharing so I can look back at their posts and see how it went...

Don't worry, mine just came today, and I got my sponsorship approval on July 3. They don't do them in order, as people who finished step 1 after me, still got an AOR before me, so I know how you feel!

Yes let's hope it comes from Havana lol. How long does it seem to be taking Havana to issue AORs? Or do you have many people on the Havana thread to judge by?
