Also, you can send a case specific enquiry @ http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/mexico.asp letting them know you just got the letter and they'll give you an extension - just in case. It's better for them to know the delay was due to the mailing time
TSA is only concerned that your boarding pass matches your ID. They are not immigration officials. The only time you encounter immigration officials is once you land in a foreign country. Their are exceptions to this (i.e. I know that when you are leaving Toronto Pearson International airport, they pre-screen you through immigration as there are many flights going to the U.S. and this saves time). But for flights leaving from the U.S. to Canada, TSA would not care if a person is undocumented or not. Their concern is that the person standing in front of them is who they say they are and that is how they verify it, through comparing a government issued identification (driver's license, state ID, U.S. Passport, foreign passport) with a boarding pass.canadiangirl78 said:
