But i recall. The 5 sponsor questions when i was sponsoring my husband. And it said if you answer no to any of the following 5 questions. Your app will not be approved please dont mail it in. And one of the questions were did you ever apply for assistance?

She was litterally on it for 2 payments. So im guessing she cant not include it but if she is to include an explanation maybe they would consider it they also have 2 kids.

GCMS notes are basically what has been done on your file. The sponsor has to request them but, the applicant has to sign a release form. The release form can be emailed to the applicant and emailed back before it's attached to the request. I've just printed off 20 copies and will have my husband sign them when I go to see him. Then, I can request our notes whenever I want.
Don't be scared to send a CSE to the VO if you want to know where your file is at. Of course, don't do it all the time but, if you haven't heard anything since April, go ahead. You could get a form reply or a doc request. Either way, at least it's something.

Hi, quick question what are the GCMS notes? I heard about a form we can fill out to have access to the process of the file. Is this form called GCMS?
Who can fill it out and where to send it? Where can I also get that form? I am sponsoring my husband and we've been waiting since April 2013 and still no news. So I was wondering if there is any way I could get info without sending the VO of Mexico an email and delaying the process. Thanks

Our AOR was received a couple of days ago. In the letter from the embassy, it states they require the following:

Proof of Relationship. Examples of evidence may be, but are not limited to:

· Joint bank account statements

· Joint properties

· Joint mortgages

· Joint memberships

· Medical/life insurance showing your spouse as beneficiary

· Etc.

In the application, we have made it clear we do not live together. We have provided proof of relationship in the form of emails, pictures, Skype logs, cards, etc., so why are they now asking for joint proof of relationship documents? Obviously, we can't provide that since we don't live together. I'm in Canada and my wife is in Mexico.

In my case we also didn't live together, I was in Mexico and my partner in Canada. I was called for an interview and asked to provide more proof like insurance, bank accounts, money transfers, more conversations and photos of trips. and the officer told me they asked for them to basically see we were still in a relationship after the wedding.

Hi everyone , it's good to read some people have news on their apps because even if it's slow there are some progress in Mexico VO.

I'm not really patient at all, but now I have no choice but wait. I still waiting to hear from them, but I see some people from June having news already, that's great!!!! We July people are next .

Ugh. I hated this question. They way it was/is worded is very confusing. On the current form (which may have been updated since we filled it out) it says, "Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent."
My husband is 41 so age 31 is more recent than age 18. We included information for the past 10 years only. I've seen others get asked for info from age 18 as well so, I'm praying that we don't. It was hard enough digging through his memory for the past 10 years, never mind 23 years.
If that's all they're asking for, just do your best to fill it out as completely as possible with no gaps in time since the age of 18. Have you been asked for your PGR yet or only these documents?

Thanks a lot Ksimental, I think we will go ahead and fill out those papers. I just want to get more info on that : What is the difference between sending an email to the VO of Mexico and the GCMS? Once the papers filled out online, how do we get access to our info? Do we then need to ask for our notes and if yes how? Im sorry for all those questions but really think those notes can help us know a bit more where we stand. Thanks a lot

AOR Finally!!!!! After 5 1/2 months. With FBI certificate and updated Schedule A background info requested. Hope the next step will be PPR.

I got everything since I was 15 so Im ok,lol, Im just double checking so I dont leave any gaps and its the most perfect explanation for every period.
Yes I already sent my PGR letter. They only requested these docs.

I hope they dont ask this for you guys!
