Yeah after all the action of the past few weeks now it's so quiet.

In my case no news from them, maybe I send a CSE this week.

Everything is still the same over here. Although, I have been in contact with my MP since no one seems to know where our application is. Mexico City still says they don't have it and CIC says they sent it August 26 and it's still "in transit" and that it's "normal" for it to be taking this long.
My MP got a little information. She said that our application is more than likely just sitting in the mail room in DF and that it's backed up because of the strike. There is no way to confirm this of course. She suggested giving it another 6 weeks for AOR before getting really worried and emailing them again.
She also mentioned that our application may take a little longer because my husband has children from a previous marriage. The children live in a different state and are in the custody of their mother. Although it is a requirement, their mother has refused to allow them to get medicals. My husband is aware that he will be unable to sponsor them in the future if they are not examined. Section 12 in the country specific guide has the information on this. I'm hoping we can just send the notarized statutory declaration explaining the circumstances and that it will be accepted. We can't force her or the children to do something they don't want to do and that shouldn't affect our marriage or our life together.
I'm off to see my husband in less than 3 weeks. Being together will lessen the stress of this process and I'm looking forward to forgetting about it for a while.

Thank you!!!! Words cant describe the feeling of finally having him home. Hope you get good news soon!

Hey Costarcro, I think I saw you leaving DF with your husband, I took the aeromexico flight on the same night as you (I believe) and you both looked very happy, you were taking a picture of him when he entered the gate and it gave me a little bit of hope for my situation!

I'm glad to see people's cases are getting resolved :)

Our ECAS hasn't been updated from "documents received" for months. Does anyone know of any other way to get information from a web site? Is this usual? It hasn't changed since July, even though we received AOR in June.

If it's true that calling them or having our MPs contact them causes slower work then I don't want to do that.

Yes. I don't think it's unusual that the status sits with "Documents Received". My wife's case has been the same since last November.
My case was the same too, it became "Application has been approved" status from "Document Received". It's probably up to a person who is taking care of your file

If I recall correctly, your file was on 'the interview rack' or something like that, and you say your bring forward date was sept 9th?
Maybe when they reviewed your file they decided not to call your for an interview :D

You could order your GCMS notes (again if you already have done so) and it will give you more info on to what happened when they reviewed it on sept 9th

worth the try :P

According to our MP they had already review our file that's when they decided an interview was require which I have no idea why is our first marriage from both of us , no kids , no ex husband/wife , we send proof of our relationship we been together for almost 3 years and married for 1 year :s but it will be awesome if at last minute they decided I don't have to go to the interview anymore lol are you done with the process .?? & how can I order my GCMS notes ?

Maybe it was us. My wife and I left Mexico city on October 12th, in an aeromexico flight. She took a few pictures of me with my passport before boarding the plane.

PASSPORT REQUESTED!!! One more step closer to Canada
