Just got an email from CIC to say they updated the website but the cgkey is down!
They had never updated it since we got approved at the interview in October to say we were approved. It said we passed medical and interview but the rest was still showing in progress and additional documents required. Makes me wonder if the passport is on its way!!!!

Hi guys!
Just to say the following: If any of your spouses has a valid driver's licence with at least six months before expiry and they wish to drive as soon as they land, get them to get an international driving permit which will be sufficient to exchange for a canadian driver's licence.

Finally the CGKey works and it confirmed his passport has been updated Dec 12th!!! It should be on its way im guessing!

Your hubby needs to go to a place in santo domingo. They will give him a paper that will allow his licence to be valid here

did you send police certificate with app, or was it requested by mexico vo?

My partner is from Chile. As per his country's instructions, we sent the police certificate with the app. The instructions might have changed since the time we submitted (Jan 2017) as I see they are now requesting it a later date for a lot of people. This is probably in case it takes longer to process the app and then there is less chance it will expire. My partner's certificate has expired, but they have not asked for a new one ....

Pcc’s are valid for 6 months but are good for a year for CIC
