Today I finally received my PPR, after more than 5 months of waiting (since I did my medicals). This is such a relief, especially since my Canadian visa expires in less then a year.
I wish all of you who still waiting for PPR to get it soon!

My medical was done in August 2015. No news from that time. Anything I should have done?

You can raise a CSE and also you can order GCMS notes which can give you an idea why your application is stuck. Has you "medicals received" line been updated in your ECAS ? Which isi your visa office and who is your visa officer?
