Hi!, got my 3rd line, medicals received on ECAS without any date mentioned but I assumed in October because September 2012 is our deadline...til now, no ppr/visa notice, only reminder from the manila embassy to attend CIIP and recently COA, after I and also my agency made inquiry...my medicals started last July 2012 and I am the principal applicant. already attended CIIP and will attend COA soon.

ur securit BGC underprocess, what r they writing for CSI, U shold send them another CSI saying that medical will expire on this date, or order GCMS to know the case positon. nekeol

Hi all,

I and my family had medical checkup on May 23, 2013 at IOM, Islamabad (Pakistan) and today I checked my e-case status and it says "Medical results have been received." Does it mean that medicals are qualified and next stage is passport request.

FYI, I have not yet submitted updated forms and RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee). I am going to submit these tomorrow.

Hi Faisal and everybody else, I did my medical on the same date i.e. 23rd May at IOM Islamabad Pakistan but my ecase status has not yet changed to "Medicals recieved." I sent them RPRF before going for medicals and also asked them to change my address. They have changed the address that means London VO got my RPRF but i was not asked to submit any updated forms particularly they just asked me to send eclosed forms and the only enclosed form was that of Medical. Should I just wait now?

Hi to all. My medicals have been done in Dec-2012. But till now e-cas is not showing "Medicals have been received" even i have submitted my passport and its been 2 months but there is no update from CHC. Mine VO is New Delhi. Any body can tell how many more days it will take to return the passport.

Can they still verify educational and job letters after Medicals been received at their end?

there are two part of Background checks

1. Background Checks(Education,Job,POF etc) check and verify by VO this part of check is before medical and on the basis of six criteria if you get equal to or more then 67 points you pass Selection decision. and if VO feel some clarification he can conduct interview to clarify the concerns. if interview is successful you will receive positive selection decision. After the interview they initiate BC to validate the info. If the BC is positive and they fully satisfy then they may send you MR with updated docs with RPEF with PCC and outside pakistan PP also. At this stage you have cleared BC and get positive Selection Decision.

2. second stage is Security Background checks for Criminal background, espionage or terrorism for safety of Canadian national. this stage is normally initiated after MR......at this stage they only concern about your Security Background checks not Documentary Background checks that you already passed before MR.......at this stage they will not verify any thing nor they call to verify for employment.

So my dear just chill and hope for the best.

Dear, you have no option. Just wait and pray to Allah. You will get when it is destined for you. By the way my case is transferred from London to Paris VO. Paris VO is much quicker than London VO. Perhaps this is the reason for delay in your case.

Thanks for valuable contribution. Its not necessary that PP request come along with RPRF / PCC request. (even you are outside pakistan) for me residing in KSA PP request came approx after 2 months of other documents. RPRF / PCC and medical request came together.
