could you please tell us after sending filled up forms with medicals and fees, i would like to know when did VO responded you for the personal form to be filled again?
please could you tell us the how long ?

Well for your surprise I had to submit schedule A form twice…

I sent all updated forms, police certificate and RPRF fees reached on 8 November 2012

LVO, request schedule A with no Gaps on 06 December 2012

LVO, request schedule A again with no Gaps on 02 January 2013

Then my file remains pending with VO till 4 April 2013

Some work done on my file and my last due date was 05 May 2013

On 17 June 2013 LVO told me that “Background checks are outstanding”

Now waiting….

Because of strike things are become worse....on CIC website there is a alert under processing time tab.......in which they mention this fact and assure to process application through alternate sources....but it create more difficulties in process.....at this movement good hope....and positivity will stay us alive....otherwise it will create a lot of anxity.

Lets refresh the cases...

First Approach:

As per Qorax....for MI3 Security Background checks normally completed when you see MR line on ECAS......so its means only wait time is Batch processing....they actually issue a batch no after security checks...and on particular batch date they open the file and forward the PPR.

Second Approach:

after Medical they initiated Security Checks and after sucessful security checks they issue PPR

Third Approch:

before MR they initiate Security Checks and after successful Security checks they issue MR and once MR line updated on ECAS they may issue MR with in 15 days to two months.

Above three approces i saw on many forums and threads.

For Pakistanies

For Pakistanies Secruity checks normally initiated after MR and take 5 to 7 months and average is 6 months for this purpose i collected data for 250 people and average time is 157 days after medical........Because of Law and order situation in Pakistan and safety of Canadian People and if any Pakistani brother have extensive travel history it will create more delay in processing and may take 9 to 12 months.

So my dear freinds don't loose hope at any moment of processing...and "Slow and Steady win the Race" ...hope for the best.......

Hi hope786,

I believe the delay and long wait time is not only happening to pakistani people.

I am from Brazil and have lived the past 6 years in the USA and have been waiting for PPR since august last year.
When they issued my medical request they also requested Royal Canadian Mounted Police clearance, because I lived in Canada in 2002-2003. RCMP took 4 full months to process my fingerprints. Then back in may they requested another FBI clearance because the one i sent with my application was over a year old. Its been two weeks since i sent the new FBI clearance and i havent heard anything from them.

As you can see, the hole system is backed up and its driving me crazy......

Guys share your stories, after medicals, have they requested for updated documents or police reports?
