Dear Friends,

I think following is important informations for applicants waiting for PPR after medical.

Just noted the below information on CIC official website that how long they will take after Medical Examinations to issue the Visa:-

""How long will my application take if I need a medical exam?
After a medical examination by a Panel Physician, the results are sent for review to the CIC medical office which serves your region. The CIC medical office will assess the results and send their assessment to the visa office which is processing your application.
Processing times can vary but generally:
For permanent resident applications, it normally takes three months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Panel Physician before we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application. This is true only if you have already complied with our other requests (e.g. to submit other documents). ""

I waiting for ppr since novermber 2015, but today i found out that the embassy did not submit my police certificate to the CIC processing center, anyway they sent it today and i have a confirmation email for it.
In my country, they do not hand a police certificate, it is sent directly to the embassy and the embassy has to forward it and i asked them to do it in December but they never did.

Anyway, can any person order GCMS notes, i.e non canadian/immigrant.?

If you have friends or relative in Canada, they can order it for you. it will only cost you $5. But if you do not have you can go through http://www.visafile.info/ and it will cost you $25.

Our posted Ppts were received by Dakar VO on Tuesday 16th February. Waiting for Visas

Alhamdulillah, Received Passport Submission Request from CIC and submitted the passport. My Time line is as under:-

Provincial Nominee Immigration Case:-
Received Nomination Letter from Province in January 2015.
Submitted immigration case to CIC Nova Scotia on 20th March 2015.
Case processing was started on 20th June 2015.
Email received from CIC for medicals on 1st November 2015.
Medicals done on 10th November 2015.
Ecas showed "Medical Results have been received" line on 20th November 2015.
CIC sent me email on 5th January 2016 to pay "Right of Permanent Residence Fees", which was paid on 6th January 2016 online.
Passport Request received on 2nd February 2016.
Passports submitted on 3rd February 2016. (Ecas still showing IN PROCESS)

Brother, which VO are you from? Can you say how long it may take to receive PPR since medical results updated in E-CAS. My VO is Hong Kong. Medical results updated since 12/02/2016. Are they doing background check?

Hi al kobi! Any news from abu dhabi? I am always waiting everyday and it made me sick. This waiting is really too long. I have friend, she has her passport stamped with visa since oct and we are almost the same timeline and visa office. I cannot understand why this is happening.

not really i am following up daily on that matter, me and you basically are stuck on the background check and it differs from one person to another, but what is really frustrating to me is i cannot log in using my Receipt number that i paid online "RPRF"...

it never worked for me whenever I tried.
don't worry about receipt Number, as long as u have online access through other login.

you can send them an email but they will never reply back because you did not exceed the timeline shown on their website, usually Background checks differ from one person to another and in some cases it can even take up to one year, be patient this is the only thing you can do at the moment
