Wife's details, followed by
Security & criminality: not started
(Her name was added at the time of medicals)

Security 2
My details(primary Applicant)
Security: blank
Criminality passed & expired

Medicals: for wife status is "Sent"
For me it is passed.
Under , "Finalize application" Heading...There is this which I dont understand..

Refusal Grounds:TemplateSectionData!!!i think ur security chk in process, while ur spouse not yet started. Pcc passed and expired, they ask again for pcc.
Refusal grounds, is always zero, otherwise they should memtion something.
On all the pages and in the last Note pagrs, u will find s.15(1) written on right hand top corner on many pages, whereever some thing is blank. While in refusal it is zero. Dont worry all is fine yhey r working on ur file. U will hear soon

what u bring while landing is TAX free. and if u bring more than 10000 CAD, u have to declare it at POE.

No Tax on any amount brought into Canada (physically or through bank transfer).

You should declare this amount when you file your taxes.

If you fall into a tax bracket and this amount is declared as income you will have to pay income tax on the total yearly income.

Thank you Rizmayo. How difficult is it to file the returns in Canada? as a new immigrant do we get any assistance that are we elligible to file the tax returns and what information should be filled? any one to assist us? and when returns usually submitted is it in December every year?

I need your thoughts....
My VO is new delhi. My country of residence is UAE. VO did not request for passport when requesting for medicals.
I got decision made on May 26th. Got PPR from NDVO on may 27th, asking me to submit it to new delhi. However, due to obvious reasons like, illegal to send passports by courier to India, my consultant wrote on my behalf to NDVO on june 5th, requesting for visa issuance at abudhabi attaching my proof of residence here in UAE. I have not heard anything from the VO yet and it is so stressful. Has anybody experienced the same...??? I am so worried .... :'(

in your situation , wise to wait for communication

if u know a MP in India, they can call NDVO on your behalf for accurate status

safe and wont trigger any panics

Yes there are new comer centers all over Canada and they offer courses on how to file taxes.

These centers get paid by the government.

Dear All, VSF tracking said as follow :

Visa application, tracking ID No.123456789X – Your Decision has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 16/06/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre DHAKA . To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

But in CIC website show “In Process” still now.

I don't know what's going on, I submitted passport 12 may. Plz Advice immediately
