Medical Exam: breast lumps a problem?

Hello,

I am from Manila, Philippines, with an application waiting time nearing 4 years now. I would like to know if breast lumps will be considered a problem in the medical, causing me to fail it? I am 34 years old, and have several small lumps that have been detected two years ago. Only two are palpable during a manual exam. I have been monitoring them through periodic breast ultrasound, and results show they have benign features. Should I be worried that I will be considered a burden to Canada's health care system?

Thank you and best regards,
Kitara

Well i can understand your concern, but i wouldn't get worried about it yet. My mother immigrated here from london and it took her four years. As well i have two friends that also immigrated to canada and it took them four years! Unless you have a spouse or partner sponsoring you, or you have a work skill that we are in need of, i think four years isn't normal but not unheard of.
