Application approved - need to send passports and photos

Again .. it doesn't matter if the photos are perfect. Immigration will re-take them for you for free right when you go through. So there's no reason to get a "guaranty."

    Dual Registration of a Vehicle

As the person at the DMV said, the law doesn't apply to cars registered in Canada. So that means you don't do it. Even if you have 60 days in the state. You only dual-register your car if you're living in 2 states - not 2 countries.

    Help :( Visitor Visa Denied

A rental agreement and work contract for you isn't enough to prove that your husband would leave Canada. Your husband needs to have his own commitments to returning. Letters from family members aren't going to help. Taking a single language course also won't help, because it's not a real...

I immigrated to Vancouver as SW and sponsored my partner at the same time. We landed 9/24/08, stayed approx. 6 months, then returned to the U.S. My partner would still like to return to Canada so that his residency doesn't expire. I need to stay in the U.S. for the time being. I have heard...

can someone be sponser after deportation

I can't tell whether you have a wife who is a canadian citizen. If so, she might be able to sponsor you as long as 1) enough time has elapsed since your conviction and 2) you are considered rehabilitated. Your father can't sponsor you because you're too old. Your son isn't old enough to...

Can I get visa to marry a canadian citizen?

Canada doesn't have a marriage visa like the U.S. Canada expects you to get married first, then sponsor your spouse. The U.S. gives you a 6 month visa in order to get married inside the U.S. .. different approaches.

Application approved - need to send passports and photos

Don't send your baby passport if she's not in the application. You'll get all the passports back through the mail before you "land," anyway. Doesn't really matter whether the pictures are perfect. Shoot for 30mm. They're probably going to re-take your photos when you go through immigration.

Can someone who suffer from Lupus qualify under FSW-PRV?

Lupus is incurable from what I understand. A friend of mine passed away from it a number of years ago. I think unless your friend goes into some kind of verifiable remission, chances are very slim to pass the physical.

Paying Income tax for the first time in Canada

You won't pay taxes to Canada on your U.S. income. But you still need to report it. Call the revenue office and they can help you. They'll even tell you which forms to use.

    Settlement fund issues again

Having cash won't be a problem for immigration as long as you declare it on your customs forms. It doesn't matter whether you open an account beforehand or wire it to an account you open after landing. The only differences are cost (wire transfer) and safety (possibility of someone stealing...
