Its so sad to see August applicants getting PPR in less than a month and here we are............stuck for months. What is going on in CEC?

Why are they prioritizing New applicants than the Old ones.

Congrats!!! :):) Do you remember how long was it from NA2 to IP2?

How do you know if it is IP1 or IP2? I mean if it is just a wording "we are processing.." then some people have been in IP2 for months o_O

Also, do you know if the ordering of GCMS note might slow down the processing??

Ordering GCMS would not slow down the process. It gives you an idea at what stage your application is..
and yes, as far as I understand, IP2 means background check including criminality and security ( criminality could be done way before IP2 )

From what I've read here, I think IP1 comes after the default not applicable (N1). After IP1 it goes to not applicable again (NA2) and then it changes again to processing (IP2).
I have read that after NA2 the case goes to the LVO and that's where IP2 happens.

Maybe they are double checking sth. Either way, it shows that they are working on your application. Don't stress :)

Hey guys!

Is there anyone who didn't pay RPRF upfront?
I didn't pay RPRF upfront. However, I was requested to pay it on August 28.

Hi, thanks for the reply! :)

Do you by any chance remember if the Additional documents changed to Not needed before the request?

Before the request, it went from not needed to your additional document is been reviewed. After the request, it is still the same "your documents are being reviewed"
