This is strange!!!!!!!!!! When did you call the agent?
Also do tell me since when is this your BGC status??? i think this is a wording issue here.
He is still on IP1. It's a wording issue. But since adr is "no documents required" he should be excited. Criminality is based on PCC, so it's as good as passed.

Yea, plus he passed eligibility so all is great for him. eligibility is the main thing.

my time line is 5th may aor and 6th june med pass and BGC changed to we are processing....ya eligibility is passed but not criminality, and generally file moves to Ottawa after Sydney and my file was still at Sydney:-(

I have a similar situation though I am FSW Outland, my AOR is 9th May, Medicals passed 26th June, my background check changed from Application in progress to NA on 5th July, and since then nothing changed up until yesterday when my documents (LOE submitted with application) changed from being reviewed to "we do not need any additional documents". Also I emailed on 27th July to inquire about my visa office and got a response on the same day saying my application was at CIO Sydney which broke my heart a little... I am just relieved that there has been some activity on my file and I believe that the document change status is a good sign. If you were informed by CIC when you called that your eligibility has been passed, congratulations, I hope that applies to me as well. Hopefully it will only be good news going forward...

Yes I am CEC in land.. Medicals was passed withing 20-25 days and then IP for a couple weeks and then N/A again ... It has been on 2nd N/A for almost 2 months..
That explains... CIC did not work on CEC applications for 1.5 months and everyone (CEC) was stuck in their respective status. Now CEC files have started moving again since last couple of weeks. But I suggest to keep a close eye on your SPAM folder as well as order gcms notes
