I got IN PROCESS in my ecas today, they started processing my app july 24.

. I was PPR july 23. They received my passport july 27.

Hoping for DM soon!!! Thank your Lord!

When we sent them the application, the official receipt email came to my husband

Your husband received an email from Immigration?
That would normally be AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt

On that email there is a CID number and the application file number.

You can use those numbers to look at your case on Ecas

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp

If they haven't even opened your file yet... they would not have your husbands email to send him something.

My spousal application sent on: April 7 along with Upfront medical and Police certificates
Acknowledge from Mississauga: May 28
Acknowledge from NDVO : June 12(Asked to provide Police Clearance and Landing Fee if not already provided)

till July 28- ECS status still the same. Application received. Medical results received. No call for Passport. hoping to hear soon. the only change which I noticed is that since last week instead of my Canadian lawyer address, it is showing my home Indian address in the address box.

that email my husband received it, the day that he sent the application to the immigration.. its written official receipt. and under that the receipt number.thank you for your reply ..you are really supporting me.

I called CIC them friday but didn't get any updates. Then monday I received the email

i phoned CIC but they didnt even wanna look at my file, they're saying it's too early & they want me to just wait for the email/mail. guess i'll wait for it to come this week.
