may 2015 applicants for citizenship

I applied in May 2105 and passed the test in second week of Feb 2016 but since then no change in ecase and no oath either. What should I expect ? I want to go abroad for a few months ASAP and wonder what to do... any advice?

Hi xotic,

It seems that the best way to get called by CIC is to buy a plane ticket. It happened to me and a few others in the group.
It seems like the wait between test and oath can be anywhere from a week to a few months if everything got approved at the time of interview.

Did you check the Excel spreadsheet? It has everybody's timelines and it can give you a better idea.

Hey friends, How long it has taken for you to receive Canadian passport under regular processing. I actually need to plan visa for out of country travel.

Took citizenship test in Scarborough centre.

Passed with 19/20. Whole process including interview took less than an hour which was way faster than I expected.

Interview went for 3 mins and I was told oath invitation will be released in a month or two.

Finally seeing the end of long journey.
