At this point no one can give with certitude the exact date of the enforcement of the remaining sections of the bill c24, but one of the rules for application of a new law is: the government have one year from the date of the royal assent on the bill To enforce i(it and it was ASSENTED TO 19TH JUNE, 2014 ) now the form ad how it will be applied the CIC has the give the details ones they fix the date, July 2015 that's what most of the forums are aiming for, but still no ones would know for sure.

I think the rush might be in June or July depending on when the law will be applied.

I am new to this forum, my 1095 days will be completed on 25th May - so is it recommended to wait for a week or two before sending application? but then on top there is a Bill-24C sword hanging on our heads...! so not sure what to do.. :-\ :-\ ! should I wait (buffer 10 days) or just apply straight away on 25th...!!

I would apply for my 2 kids a well. so would this matter..??? please advice if anyone can...! thanks.

That is a decision that you have to make, but in my case I will be eligible on May 24th and I will send my application on May 27th, because I am afraid that they will announce the law on June 1st on the same or previous day.

In normal situations I would have put a 2-4 weeks buffer, but it is too risky right now, plus I did put all the accurate days and I did comply with all the requirements so it should not be a problem to send it with +2/5 days only.

I have all my days calculated (minus the days of my absence) - so if this is even plus minus one day they will send the application back...!!! soo I am afraid of this fact...! the law may not be on 1 june, but some people on this forum say its 1st July...! so absolutely no idea what is going to happen.

Part of this law was applied on Jan 1st, 2015 with no notice. So for me I won't take a chance, and I will apply as soon as I can with minimal margin.
