Normally, we send the Police Clearance along with the application. I did not hire any consultant for my application.

VO will ask you when the documents are required.

CPP-Ottawa is having too much load as same VO is processing WP etc too .......also, they are responsible for Backlog clearance etc, hence, we all are getting delayed.

The stream for CEC is getting fast processing.

Apart from waiting, we do not have any option

Nothing yet ........it has been 10 days since I submitted the forms + RPRF as they asked, but there is no response.

It is because of so many changes in my profile. SInce, I filed my application, my status changed from Single to Married. Then I added my spouse, then My spouse came here on OWP. ..........Everytime, I reported a change, they asked me for the new forms.

Now, they asked me to send the forms AGAIN without any reason.

I just hope that the application is processed and we get medicals soon.

Just keep communicating with VO. They will reply

I did send couple of emails in the past. They replied back with request to keep the correspondence to a minimum. Nothing has changed in my case. It's been showing IN-PROCESS since May 2012. I am working for the same company and recently applied for a BOWP.

What is BOWP?

My WP expires in March 2014 and if I do not get PR by then, I will have trouble..............................
But if VO finalizes the application then I may get extension by 4-6 months of OWP.

My WP expires in March 2014 and if I do not get PR by then, I will have trouble..............................
But if VO finalizes the application then I may get extension by 4-6 months of OWP.

BOWP is bridging open work permit.
My work permit expires in December 2013.
I got PER on 2nd May 2012. It's been in process since then.

I received my BOWP for 1 year. Some people mentioned they got it for few months but I explicitly asked for 1 year BOWP in my letter. However, the one year will be from the date of processing of your BOWP application so any months still pending for your current work visa will be lost. So better to apply 1 or 2 months before your current visa expiry.
