What are the options? I heard the TRV on passport will be cancelled.

Since the TRV is valid for only one entry, it will be cancelled at the time you land.

If you want to travel, you will need another TRV only if you want to travel outside country before your PR card arrives........Apply for Visitor Visa and then you can travel outside the country.

For TRV after landing and before arrival of PR card, you will need very strong reason .........

It's great to see there is finally movement on the 2012 applicants. I still haven't heard anything yet. Is everyone here using the Trackitt? I have been watching 9 other cases from the first half of 2012 and see more than 50% have started processing.

Not sure if I can post an external link, but will try:

bye guys, good luck to everybody

Congrats! Getting excited now for my turn...

Finished landing at the border yesterday. My wife's couldn't be done because she had 2 UCI numbers, a new one was issued recently with her work permit. Looks like we will have to do hers at the CIC office. not sure if this is common problem.

Any news guys? I finally sent all my docs and now just waiting for my PPR. How long can this take?

I just got med request this morning. Finally something is happening!

Also got request for updated background doc, police certs, and RRPF. Going to busy these days.

Hello All,
Got our Passports with VISA back yesterday. Will be landing tomorrow.

Any advice, my attorney tells me that I can go to the Canada/US border to land only if I can enter US legally and have a valid reason to enter US. But I wont have to enter US for landing do I? I don't have a US VISA if what my attorney says is true.

Thanks

Congrats,

When you reach the border, tell the USA official that you want to flag pole. They will direct you to Canadian border after a small formality.

Good luck.

Thanks Jayson.

If anyone wants to land in SK, please visit the North Portal port of Entry only, as tehy are the only CBSA post with the ability to process the paper work for the Immigrants to Land.
I went to a closer border and had to detour to the North Portal Border (additonal 2 hour travel) and complete teh process. It eneded up being alon day for us, got back home around 2:30AM.

But the process itself was very straight forward, and the officers were also very accomodating and supportive. Only 2 questions ware asked, how long have you been working for the company? What do I do there? and I gave the answers.

I wan't even asked for proof of settlement funds, or any other paper work (probbly because I have been living in canada for over 2 years now).

Although they said that the photographs I'd submitted were not good (enough), and he took our new pictures at the border.
