Our status is exactly the same. Application was received on May 24, I was approved as a sponsor on July 23, and it hasn't changed since then. Application Received and not a peep from CIC. Well that's not entirely true. We get the oh so helpful canned response whenever we contact them. The emotions have quickly gone from frustration to anger. Especially when I see people from June receiving their PPR.

It's so crazy how our dates are exactly the same.
My application was sent in: May,24th, 2012 and was approved the 23 of July as well.
But I received PPR as of November 29th

We tried to land today. CPP-O hasn't entered us in the system yet so they couldn't finalize his COPR. Sigh. Went to Niagara Falls for nothing...

Sorry to hear that.. :( I thought eCAS is just an unreliable tool for us to see the progress. I did not know that it is required in the landing process. Nevertheless it is just a matter of time. You may be anxious but you do not have to worry!

Ecas is one thing... the freaking COPR in our hand is another. And ecas said decision made but in their system it just shows sponsor approved. I know we dont have to worry but we possibly just spent a bunch of money to go on a little celebratory mini vacation, for the landing to have never happened as planned...

We got it finally :( we were having dinner and I was super depressed because we are leaving tomorrow and we were told CPP o closed a few hours earlier... THEN we got the phone call to go back to the immigration office and he LANDED a few hours ago!!

Hi Everybody,

glad to see many of the May-Ottawa getting their PPRs. I am still waiting with baited breath. I was hoping this week but no luck. My wife checked her end and at least they started processing on November 16. This wait is so hard. Hope to be in Canada soon.

Good luck to all

Hi All! We're happy to report that my wife received PPR on December 12th! Our application was transferred down to Los Angeles, so unfortunately they requested an original passport instead of scanned. Sent in passport and all info to LA on the 13th - hoping to get passport back soon(ish!...aka 4-6 weeks from what we're reading)

Hi everybody!

Can someone tell me for which reasons the passport req can be waived? I'm sponsoring mu hubby, but he doesn't have a passport and can't get any one because he's a refugee. So I'm wondering how he can get a visa without a passport,... thank you for your answers.

Many May applicants are in the same boat. I would check your VO processing time on the CIC website. I am sure there's nothign to worry about.

Hi bonitanita,

As I see on your profile, the passport req. is exempted, can you please explain to me what it means? Thank you very much!
