You got sponsor approval in just over a month while most of us waited around 3.

Most people in April and early May have not yet heard back. You applied at the end of May. You should relax.

It seems like things are going pretty good for you! I think it's good news not to hear from them too much in this stage. It means they have everything they need hopefully and are processing your app.

Checked on our status today and saw that they finally started processing my wifes application for PR! Any idea on timeline from when they start processing to when we receive notification that everything is good to go?

Congrats!! Nice to see some progress! Hopefully we'll get our notification soon too!!

Hello all,

courier just delivered my COPR. nothing is affixed or stamped in my passport (logical as I am visa-exempt). Not really sure why I had to send the passport but anyway.

I have two copies of a (thankfully) error free COPR sitting on my desk. Just bought my tickets, landing on October 24th.

I'll stick around and offer any advice I can but all in all I wish every one a speedy successful process and all the best

55 days since sponsor approval. 25 more days until I reach the average days for COPR. Come on!!!!!!!!!

Hi, just joined the forum! I also applied in May and have had my sponsor approval mid August. How do you know the average number of days for the next stage? I'm really hoping stage 2 doesn't take the full 8 months quoted on the CIC website.

There is a forum here for outland london applicants. They have a spreadsheet and so it's possible to compare other people within the same VO.

Good luck!!!!! :)

Excellent thanks! If you want to add my details to the spreadsheet they are as follows:

Application received May 16 2012
Sponsorship approved Aug 17 2012
Medical date Feb 20 2012

We applied from outside of Canada and our application is currently waiting to be processed in London.

Will share any updates as we progress. Hopefully it won't be too long now : )

Good luck to everyone else who's waiting!

have a nice flight dkera!

how much did you find your new ticket? (and which carrier?)

of course is a round trip ticket you will never use the second part... right?

unfortunately because the ticket had to be soon I couldn't find any good ones (like the last one for 670 that I had to cancel).

the cheapest tickets from Thessaloniki to Toronto were over 900-950 euros.
finally i booked a separate flight to Munich and then a return ticket Munich-toronto-Munich. total price 640.

there is a 99% probability i won't use the return.

two months ago British Airways had tickets ATH-VANCOUVER-ATH from 630 euro...

now I checked for next Jan-Feb (hope to have my visa till then) and the cheapest is at 840...

and as you said a ticket we gonna use only the half part!!!

:/
